Please provide Jet OUT your full legal name, date of birth, weight, and estimated luggage weight for your flight early in the reservation process. The sooner Jet OUT obtains the information, the better we can fulfill your flight needs.
The No Fly List, maintained by the United States federal government's Terrorist Screening Center (TSC), is one of several lists included in algorithmic rulesets used by government agencies and airlines to decide who to allow to board flights. Jet OUT will need to collect your full legal name, gender, and date of birth in advance of your flight in order to comply with these FAA regulations.
Aircraft performance can only be determined after gross weight is computed. Professional flight crews do these computations routinely. Jet OUT pilots always collect and run the numbers to ensure compliance with aircraft operating limitations.
Please provide Jet OUT full data about all passengers, passenger weights, and luggage weights for your flight early in the reservation process. The sooner Jet OUT obtains the information, the better we can serve our customers and avoid last minute adjustments due to revised weight and balance calculations.
Jet OUT policy stipulates that we must have all flights finalized by 5pm the day before any departure. Currently, Jet OUT does not offer same day flights.
At times – although rare – flight delays, aircraft swaps, and cancellations could happen with your flight. Jet OUT operations are subject to weather and FAA regulations; Jet OUT’s mission is to fulfill your expectations with each and every flight. If any issues arise, our concierge and operations team will work directly with you to provide alternate travel arrangements that support your needs.
Jet OUT’s job is to manage and fulfill your travel needs in the safest way possible. In such situations, our operations team will monitor the weather and determine if your chosen aircraft is able to take off per published FAA rules and regulations. Jet OUT’s concierge and operations staff will always research the specifics of your travel if inclement weather does arise and communicate alternatives to meet your travel needs.
Yes, Jet OUT will provide two qualified pilots for all of your flights. We believe that the highest levels of aviation safety can only be achieved when two well trained pilots work together as a team. Rest assured that your two pilots are there for much more than mere redundancy. Jet OUT trains its pilots to use industry best practice Crew Resource Management (CRM) techniques, which ensure that your pilots are constantly monitoring each other, double and triple checking safety critical tasks and sharing the workload of flight. CRM techniques are an essential part of how the major airlines and FAA air carriers like Jet OUT achieve high levels of safety and consistency.
Jet OUT pilots, and all professional pilots, are subject to daily duty time restrictions. FAA flight time limitations within the duty periods are restricted to a maximum of 10 hours for flight crews consisting of two pilots.
Jet OUT is prohibited from transporting dangerous goods or hazardous materials. Hazardous material means a substance or material that the Secretary of Transportation has determined is capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, and property when transported in commerce and has been designated as hazardous under section 5103 of the Federal hazardous materials transportation law. Items regulated by the FAA and DOT can be referenced on the FAA’s PackSafe for Passengers.
Yes. Pets are allowed. When flying with your pets on Jet OUT, please provide details on the size and number of your pets to the concierge team at the time of your flight request.
Bringing a car seat on the plane isn't required, but it's the safest way to fly with your young child. That means either an FAA approved car seat or a CARES harness. Please arrive early for your flight if you will be using a car seat on your Jet OUT flight. Jet OUT does not provide any seating for small children.
Jet OUT’s unique program achieves operational efficiencies which deliver substantial cost savings. In order to fully benefit from these efficiencies, we recommend that you live or work within 75 miles of the base airport of the airplane you co-own.
Yes! It is up to your discretion who you invite on your aircraft. You are not required to be present.
Jet OUT’s tagline is Nonstop Efficiency, and that is our promise to the Jet OUT customer. What does that mean? It means efficiency with our customers' time, money, and effort.
When our customers streamline their travel with Jet OUT, they cut out endless hours of wasted time and maximize productivity. Less wasted time means less wasted money. By minimizing travel costs, our customers boost their bottom lines.
Jet OUT places its commitment to safety at the forefront of all operations. Our commitment is to deliver the safest flying experience possible.
We are an Argus Gold-rated operator and have multiple programs in place that demonstrate our investment in safety that form our Safety Management System (SMS).
But the safest part of our operations is our talented, dedicated and passionate crew of pilots. Jet OUT flies all our aircraft with two, captain-caliber, pilots who undergo rigorous training and testing.
Jet OUT’s co-ownership program opens up private aviation in a unique way. Fixed costs are shared across multiple owners, achieving massive operational cost savings.
With co-ownership, you own part of a specific serial-numbered aircraft. This is true direct asset ownership, and your interest could entitle you to a number of robust tax benefits.
At the same time, the program achieves utilization rate efficiencies that are unmatched in the private aviation sector by sharing the asset with other owners.
Jet OUT can offer massive savings to our co-owners by taking a capital asset and dividing the purchase price among many users. Then, with Jet OUT operating the aircraft with a few different co-owners, we get the aggregate utilization rate of that aircraft to a level at which it is very efficient to operate.
Jet OUT offers aircraft co-owners the best of both worlds. They can potentially realize the tax depreciation benefits that come with whole aircraft ownership and they also get to achieve the operational cost savings that come with owning an aircraft with other parties.
Jet OUT co-owners receive up to 20 travel days a year, per share. Jet OUT operates on your time. You are completely in control of where and how you travel. All you do is show up and go.
Jet OUT’s co-ownership terms continue for five years. After that timeframe, Jet OUT will market it for resale as your broker. The aircraft will be sold to a third party in an arms length transaction, the net sales proceeds will be distributed to you at closing and the co-ownership term will then end automatically.
Your co-ownership interest is an asset that you own and we believe that you should be able to resell it at your pleasure. You are able to transfer your co-ownership interest to a third party at any time with Jet OUT’s consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld.
Jet OUT’s co-ownership program is turnkey, and we believe that the end of the term should be as automatic and seamless as using the aircraft. Accordingly, Jet OUT carries out an end-of-term procedure that ensures that the resale value of your aircraft is maximized without requiring any investment of time and effort on your part.
At Jet OUT’s expense — Jet OUT carries out a refurbishment of your aircraft with the intention of maximizing the resale value of your aircraft. Jet OUT then obtains an appraisal of your aircraft from a third party and shares it with you and the other co-owners. If you or other co-owners object to the appraisal, the co-ownership agreements provide for a resolution process which allows you or other co-owners to submit your own third party appraisal. Jet OUT then markets your aircraft for resale as your broker in an arms-length transaction and administers the sale and closing of your aircraft. Jet OUT will find a buyer who agrees to pay a purchase price which is no less than 3% of the appraised fair market value. At closing the net sales proceeds are distributed to the co-owners in proportion to their ownership fraction.
Your Jet OUT co-ownership share is true ownership of a hard asset. If your co-ownership interest will be used for qualified business purposes then you may be able to claim 100% bonus depreciation on the purchase price. We recommend that you consult with a tax professional that specializes in aircraft to obtain advice with respect to your particular circumstances. Your Jet OUT sales representative can provide you with a referral to a qualified tax professional.
In the Jet OUT co-ownership program, fuel is a direct pass through. You pay the actual cost of the jet fuel consumed for your flights with no additional markup. An original copy of each fuel receipt is attached to your monthly billing statements.
You benefit directly from any volume fuel discounts that Jet OUT receives from FBOs and airports. Our Concierge team is always happy to work with you to reduce your fuel costs by suggesting lower-cost airports or FBOs.
Jet OUT provides pilots, maintenance, insurance, aircraft hangers and more. Our customers do not pay for the relocation of empty aircraft at the beginning or end of a trip or any extra fees such as reposition fees, crew fees, fuel surcharges, cleaning fees, landing fees, and other charges.
The Jet OUT empty leg buyback and charter pool programs reduce operating costs and put guaranteed money back in our customer’s pockets.
With the empty leg buyback program, Jet OUT purchases empty legs from our customers for a guaranteed price. Price is based on a proprietary algorithm utilizing 16 years' worth of Part 135 flight history to calculate a city pair demand score based on the day of the week, time of day, relation to a holiday, and time of the year.
With the charter pool program, Jet OUT owners can directly place up to six travel days from their co-ownership interest into the Jet OUT charter pool. Jet OUT then sells these days and returns the profit to our owners.
All Jet OUT aircraft are brand new, stored in a hangar to protect from the elements, and detailed by professional crews every two days of flying. Every jet is operated to airliner maintenance requirements and flown by two experienced pilots that undergo strict training requirements.
