Flight Dispatcher

Jet OUT is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Flight Dispatcher to join our team! This position reports directly to the Director of Dispatch and Flight Scheduling. Jet OUT is an innovative co-ownership platform, making private aviation more accessible and efficient for both business and personal travelers. Utilizing more than 5,000 regional airports, we get our owners exactly where they need to be, precisely when they need to be there, while minimizing cost and maximizing productivity. Our success shows in the growth we have experienced over the past couple years and we are currently in need of dispatchers to join our team. 

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day activities, including flight release, airworthiness assessments, and weather assessments.
  • Confirm the availability of airplanes and flight crews in a timely fashion as flight requests are received while optimizing flight schedules for service quality and cost.
  • Ensure that the flight crew being assigned are qualified, trained, and scheduled in accordance with FAA and company duty and rest time requirements.
  • Coordinate with maintenance to assess aircraft airworthiness before dispatching flights.
  • Monitor the progress of each flight, paying specific attention to weather and field conditions at departure, destination, and alternate airports.
  • Exercise operational control authority as the first point of contact for flight crews in cases of flight changes caused by weather, maintenance, passengers, ATC, flight crews, etc.
  • Coordinate with all appropriate parties regarding unscheduled operation of aircraft due to weather, airport conditions, emergency situations, etc.
  • Initiate emergency response plan as necessary.
  • Work with Dispatch and Concierge team members to analyze operational factors and restrictions that may affect the successful completion of a flight.
  • Communicate in a timely and professional manner with internal departments and to assist customers.
  • When required, handle incoming calls, texts, and emails with professionalism and urgency.
  • When required, obtain vital information from customers while assessing the credibility of situations.
  • Promote customer service during all phases of flight planning.

Lead Technician

Summary

The lead Technician is a self-starter who would enjoy playing a key part in the growth of Jet OUT. This is our first base in Florida and has room for expansion. This person would take on a lead role in coordinating maintenance, scheduling, inventory control, and detailing of the aircraft (two Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen 2s). This person would be a direct lead over one other A+P who also takes on the main role of detailer as well. This person would be available for departures and generally work an 8-hour day. They would overlap the hours of the technician, and tasks that need 2 people can be handled then. We are hiring a second technician who will take on the majority of cleaning/stocking aircraft, but the lead tech will be trained on and do these things as well when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve squawks on aircraft
  • Perform some scheduled maintenance inspections
  • Perform post-flight inspections of aircraft to Jet OUT standards
  • Be onsite for departures
  • Coordinate upcoming maintenance with the director of maintenance
  • Manage on-site inventory
  • Manage scheduling of 2nd shift technician/detailing
  • Promote a culture of safety

Technician/Aircraft Detailer

Summary

The evening shift Technician/Aircraft Detailer will resolve squawks when aircraft return to base and handle the detailing/cleaning/re-stocking of aircraft for flights. The shift will overlap with the Lead Technician for completing tasks that require 2 techs. This person will also coordinate with the Director of Customer Experience regarding cleaning/stocking. The evening shift consists of Sunday - Thursday, approximately 2 pm -9 pm, depending on the flight schedule. Saturday schedule splits with Lead Tech or on-call Tech.

Job Responsibilities
