• Part 135 and co-ownership program
• 8/6 schedules with built-in flexibility
• Not on call 24/7
• The majority of our trips return to base the same day
• No airline travel to where your trip begins

Required Qualifications
  • ATP Pilot Certificate AMEL
  • Current 1st Class Medical Certificate
  • 3,500 Total Time
  • 1,500 Turbine PIC
  • Valid Driver’s License Valid US Passport with no restrictions FCC Operator Permit
  • Able to travel unrestricted to Canada, Mexico, and all countries in the Caribbean
  • No incidents, accidents, or FAA sanctions within the last five years
  • Ability to lift 50-75 LBS
Preferred Qualifications
  • CE-525 PIC type rating
  • 250 hours in type
  • 2,500 hours multi-engine
  • Proficient in ProLine 21 Avionics Suite
  • Part 121 or part 135 Experience

Training Manager

Location

Summary

The Training Manager is a nonflying position that reports to the Chief Pilot. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the operation of all pilot training programs and training delivery within Jet OUT’s Part 135 training program.

The Training Manager will conduct ground training lessons and revise training modules as needed in response to changes in the industry, Safety Management System reports, Aviation Safety Action Program reports, or feedback from training captains and check pilots.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the CEO, Director of Operations, or Chief Pilot to support the continued growth of Jet OUT.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure that courseware materials are prepared and maintained in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Review data from Airworthiness Directives and the aircraft manufacturers to determine their applicability for training and checking.
  • Propose changes to the approved course, courseware and/or training equipment when applicable or required.
  • Coordinate and standardize the pilot training syllabus, classroom media, lesson plans, and all other related courseware.
  • Supervise and manage flight crew training activities.
  • Monitor, periodically, through random Quality Assurance observations, the teaching skills of all ground training instructors, and confer with the Chief Pilot regarding Instructors’ capability.
  • Monitor ground training activities to ensure technical and procedural accuracy
  • Interview prospective teammates, evaluate and recommend employment.
  • Provide project direction(s), set priorities and monitor staff achievement.
  • Direct and/or facilitate departmental staff meetings.
Requirements
  • 5 years of air carrier experience in either a Part 121 or Part 135 operation or;
  • 3 years as a ground instructor in a Part 121, Part 135, or Part 142 training program.
  • CFI Certificate preferred
  • Airline Transport Pilot certificate preferred
  • CE-525 Type rating preferred
