TBM Captain

Summary

  • Two Pilot Crew
  • Scheduled no more than 5 days a week
  • Not on call 24/7
  • Flights are dispatched no later than 6 PM the day before
  • Majority of our trips return to base the same day
  • No airline travel to where your trip begins

Responsibilities

  • Perform the safe operation of Jet OUT aircraft in all weather conditions at any approved airport.
  • Be highly knowledgeable of company’s General Operations Manual, FAA regulations, Company Operations Specifications, flight manuals, and other pertinent documents.
  • Keep up to date with new policies, procedures, FAA and ICAO regulations, and IS-BAO best practices.
  • Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills on every flight.
  • Operate Jet OUT aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and Jet OUT Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Assist passengers with baggage and loading aircraft.
  • Maintain professionalism that reflects positively on Jet OUT.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot.

Required Qualifications

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate ASEL
  • Current 1st Class Medical Certificate
  • 1,500 hours total flight time
  • 500 Hours cross-country time
  • 100 hours of night flight time
  • 50 hours of actual instrument flight time
  • Previous Turbine experience
  • Previous Part 135 or Part 121 experience
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate AMEL
  • 2,000 hours total flight time

CJ4 Captain

Summary

  • Direct entry captain
  • Part 135 and Part 91 flight operations
  • Scheduled no more than 5 days a week
  • Not on call 24/7

Responsibilities

  • Plans flight assignments and obtains briefing information regarding the purpose of the flight, weather, operating procedures, and special instructions.

  • Ensures proper filing of the flight plan, considering such factors as altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, cruise control data, airport facilities and navaids.

  • Supervises crewmembers to ensure proper planning and flight preparation.

  • Ensures proper equipment is aboard.

  • Ensures aircraft is loaded, equipped, and manned for the flight assignment.

  • Performs or supervises preflight inspection of engines, fuselage and control surfaces for mechanical and structural soundness and proper operation of communications and navigational equipment.

  • Supervises loading and distribution of cargo and passengers and determines that weight and balance is within prescribed limitations per procedures.

  • Operates aircraft at favorable altitude considering turbulence, oxygen requirements, and comfort of passengers during flight.

  • Ensures preparation of flight logs, records, and maintenance forms.

  • Checks the Maintenance Status Form to ensure that the aircraft is in an airworthy condition and that all required maintenance has been performed and that the planned flight can be completed prior to the next scheduled maintenance.

  • Promotes a positive safety and reporting culture.

  • Reports any potential or observed safety issues via appropriate methods.

  • 1,000 Hours Turbine
  • CE-525 Type Rating
  • 100 Hours of CE-525C
  • Part 135 Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Reside within two-hour drivable commute. Individuals residing outside of the area willing to relocate on their own will be considered. This is not a commutable position.
