Training Manager

Location

Summary

The Training Manager is a nonflying position that reports to the Chief Pilot. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the operation of all pilot training programs and training delivery within Jet OUT’s Part 135 training program.

The Training Manager will conduct ground training lessons and revise training modules as needed in response to changes in the industry, Safety Management System reports, Aviation Safety Action Program reports, or feedback from training captains and check pilots.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the CEO, Director of Operations, or Chief Pilot to support the continued growth of Jet OUT.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure that courseware materials are prepared and maintained in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Review data from Airworthiness Directives and the aircraft manufacturers to determine their applicability for training and checking.
  • Propose changes to the approved course, courseware and/or training equipment when applicable or required.
  • Coordinate and standardize the pilot training syllabus, classroom media, lesson plans, and all other related courseware.
  • Supervise and manage flight crew training activities.
  • Monitor, periodically, through random Quality Assurance observations, the teaching skills of all ground training instructors, and confer with the Chief Pilot regarding Instructors’ capability.
  • Monitor ground training activities to ensure technical and procedural accuracy
  • Interview prospective teammates, evaluate and recommend employment.
  • Provide project direction(s), set priorities and monitor staff achievement.
  • Direct and/or facilitate departmental staff meetings.
Requirements
  • 5 years of air carrier experience in either a Part 121 or Part 135 operation or 3 years as a ground instructor in a Part 121, Part 135, or Part 142 training program.
  • Fluent in PowerPoint or Keynote software
  • CFI Certificate preferred
  • Airline Transport Pilot certificate preferred

Flight Dispatcher

Location

Summary

Jet OUT is seeking a full-time, highly motivated and detail-oriented Flight Dispatcher to join our growing team.

Jet OUT offers an innovative co-ownership platform that makes private aviation more accessible and efficient for business and personal travelers. By utilizing over 5,000 regional airports, we ensure our owners reach their destinations precisely when needed, minimizing costs and maximizing productivity.
 
Our success is evident in our significant growth over the past few years, and we are now looking for additional dispatchers. This position reports directly to the Vice President of the Operations Control Center.

Job Responsibilities
  • Flight Following
    Monitor and track all active flight operations in real-time, ensuring compliance with internal procedures as outlined in the company’s dispatcher protocols and documentation.
  • Flight Planning and Release
    Coordinate and execute comprehensive flight planning for all Jet OUT operations. Responsibilities include route optimization, weight and balance calculations, alternate airport planning, and detailed weather analysis to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Responsible for final flight release and dissemination to flight crews.
  • Feasibility Assessments
    Conduct thorough assessments of flight and airport feasibility based on operational, logistical, and regulatory criteria. Use established company documentation to evaluate airspace restrictions, airport capabilities, and environmental factors.
  • International Operations Coordination
    Manage and secure all required international clearances, airport slots, landing and overflight permits. Coordinate with relevant authorities and service providers for international trash disposal and ensure compliance with customs and immigration requirements.
  • Operational Logistics
    Coordinate with Fixed Base Operators (FBOs) to confirm arrival and departure support, including hangar availability, de-icing services, fuel arrangements, and ground handling. Ensure all necessary services are in place for both domestic and international flights.
  • Briefing and Communications Support
    Update and maintain operational notes and advisories for flight crews using platforms such as ForeFlight and FLEXX, ensuring crews receive timely and relevant flight information.
  • Schedule Oversight and Optimization
    Proactively monitor the flight schedule, identify potential disruptions, and recommend adjustments to maintain operational integrity and maximize efficiency.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration
    Act as a liaison for dispatch-related inquiries from other departments. Provide accurate, timely information to support coordination across Maintenance, Customer Service, Scheduling, and other operational teams.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
 
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate or equivalent flight dispatch experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a dispatch center supporting Part 135 or Part 121 operations is highly desirable
