Jet OUT is seeking a Base Chief Pilot for our Milwaukee, Wisconsin base. Reporting to the System Chief Pilot, the Base Chief Pilot provides day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight for pilots assigned to the Milwaukee base.

This is a flying leadership role designed for a pilot who is respected on the line, comfortable holding standards, and committed to supporting a professional, accountable, and pilot-focused culture. The Base Chief Pilot will help ensure consistent execution of Jet OUT procedures, support training and checking activities, assist with pilot development, and serve as a trusted resource for both pilots and flight department leadership.

This role is intended for a pilot leader who wants more than a title — someone who wants to help build, lead, and protect the standard at one of Jet OUT’s most important bases.

The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, credible, and visible. This person should be comfortable leading by example, communicating directly, resolving issues professionally, and helping build a base culture that reflects Jet OUT’s standards across the system.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the direct supervisor and primary point of contact for pilots assigned to the Milwaukee base.
  • Report to the System Chief Pilot and maintain close communication regarding base operations, pilot performance, staffing, scheduling, and operational needs.
  • Maintain proficiency and currency as a CJ4 Pilot-in-Command and lead by example as a professional line pilot and base-level flight department leader.
  • Support pilot standardization and the consistent execution of Jet OUT policies, SOPs, checklists, manuals, and operational expectations.
  • Serve as the assigned on-call Base Chief Pilot when scheduled, providing timely leadership support for pilot, operational, safety, crew readiness, and base-level issues requiring Chief Pilot involvement outside normal business hours.
  • Mentor new hires, support pilot development, and participate in pilot interviews, selection, onboarding, and retention efforts as requested.
  • Assist with recurrent training, local training coordination, pilot readiness, and required checking events, including 135.293 and 135.299 events, when authorized and qualified.
  • Coordinate with the System Chief Pilot, Training Manager, Scheduling, Dispatch, and other operational leaders to support flight crew readiness and base performance.
  • Conduct regular pilot performance reviews and provide coaching, feedback, and development support.
  • Address pilot performance, interpersonal, or disciplinary matters at the base level, escalating when appropriate.
  • Manage and coordinate local pilot schedules in alignment with company operational needs.
  • Support base-level communication, implementation of updated procedures and policies, safety and security initiatives, local service provider relationships, and other duties assigned in support of Jet OUT’s growth, safety, and operational performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of experience in Part 135 and/or Part 121 operations
  • Minimum one year of experience as PIC in turbojet operations
  • ATP certificate with AMEL privileges

Base Chief Pilot - Dallas, TX

Summary

Jet OUT is looking for a Base Chief Pilot to help support and maintain a high level of professionalism and safety within our flight department. The Base Chief Pilot will be the direct supervisor and primary point of contact for all pilots assigned to the base. Your primary role will be to support the pilots and other flight department personnel and facilitate positive communication channels between the base employees and the Jet OUT main office.

As Jet OUT’s Base Chief Pilot, you are to be highly knowledgeable on Jet OUT’s General Operations Manual, General Training Manual, Operations Specifications, and all other manuals used by the company, as well as the Federal Aviation Regulations and the AFM for aircraft kept at the base.

Your regular duties will include participating in interviews, hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring new employees as well as performing recurrent training, checking events, and regular performance reviews for base pilots. You will also be responsible for handling interpersonal, performance, or disciplinary issues, coordinating local pilot schedules and training, implementing new and updated procedures, and other tasks necessary for the growth of Jet OUT.

Some travel to Milwaukee, WI and other current and future Jet OUT bases will be necessary, as well as other locations for training purposes and to support Jet OUT flight operations.

As a member of Jet OUT’s management, you will have other responsibilities outside of the flight department, specifically representing Jet OUT in dealings with the local FBO and any other service providers we use. You will also be responsible for safety and security roles and facilitating local drug tests. Additional tasks may be assigned by the CEO, COO, Director of Operations, or Chief Pilot as necessary for the growth of Jet OUT.

The Base Chief Pilot plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall success of Jet OUT.

Responsibilities
  • Reports to the Chief Pilot.
  • Maintains a close liaison with the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations about department operations.
  • Maintains proficiency as a Pilot-in-Command on the CJ4.

  • Supervises distribution and posting of all information or memoranda relative to any changes affecting company policy, route information, navaids, NOTAMS, requesting of flying aids, aeronautical charts, etc.
  • Ensures that all flight crew personnel are certified and supervised according to the requirements specified in the Federal Aviation Regulations.

Maintenance Controller

Location

Summary

This will be the first member of what will become a 4-person team. Initially you will work 4 x 10hr shifts Tuesday – Friday (1 PM-11 PM).  When fully staffed, there will be a 1st shift (4am-2pm) and 2 nd shift(1 pm-11 PM) and they will be 4on – 4off that will continually rotate but can be tracked through the year. The MXC staff will work at the Jet OUT headquarters office in the OCC alongside the dispatch team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Central point of contact for front-line crewmembers and all maintenance-related matters.
  • Ensures adherence to Jet OUT’s quality standards and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide real-time support and release authority squawks/deferrals on our fleet.
  • Log and track squawks and AOG information into Jet OUT’s squawk log for data tracking.
  • Coordinate repairs through outside or in-house MX as appropriate, following the FAA regulations and Jet OUT’s GOM.
  • Tracking scheduled MX and coordinating with DOM and/or service centers.
  • Tracking of deferred MX and coordinating the resolutions.
  • Vetting outside service providers and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Give daily and end-of-week updates to the DOM.
  • Review WO statuses for completion and follow up after MX events.
  • Create and maintain an open/deferred discrepancy dashboard.
  • Update Jet OUTs next due board hours and cycles.
  • This person will be instrumental in developing Jet OUT’s MX control department and SOPs.

Maintenance Technician

  • Perform some scheduled MX inspections
  • Perform post-flight inspections of aircraft to Jet OUT standards
  • Be on-site for returns
  • Assist the aircraft maintenance lead technician
  • Lavatory and galley sanitation
  • Restock aircraft galley provisioning and go-bags
  • Reorder base provisioning stock (food & beverages)
  • Rotate the galley food and beverage stock
  • Remove and dispose of expired stock
Requirements
  • Be available for full-time plus have on-call availability
  • Have a vehicle
  • Have an A+P license
  • Must have own tool set (specialty tools will be provided by the company
  • CJ4 experience a plus
  • Able to self-manage time
  • Pass initial and random drug testing
